Lampwork Glass Beads and Jewelry

Welcome to Nitabeads!

Nitabeads, also known as Firefly Beads, is a one-woman glass studio located in Jackson, Michigan.
I have been making unique artisan lampwork beads since 1998. My beads are made one by one in
an oxygen-propane torch, and go directly into a kiln to be annealed for strength and durability.
I specialize in borosilicate glass beads, but also use Moretti, Lauscha, CIM, Double Helix, Vetrofond,
Bullseye, and Reichenbach glass. I enjoy making jewelry, bead pens, winestoppers, canape knives,
and other beaded items, but mostly I love to make beadsets and focal beads for other designers
to use in their creations.
